MILESTONE I: Interoperability prototype tested with improved codes

All current versions of documented source code for applications and the framework made publicly available via the Web.    Current versions of documented application code are available from the ESMF Component Database, via the Applications link on the navigation bar at left.  The ESMF source code is available via the Downloads & Documentation link on the navigation bar at left. F2. Provide 3 interoperability experiments from the following list: 1) GFDL FMS B-grid atmosphere with MITgcm ocean; 2)GFDL MOM4 ocean with NCEP atmosphere; 3) NSIPP ocean with LANL CICE; 4) NSIPP atmosphere with DAO analysis; 5) DAO fvCAM with NCEP analysis; 6) NCEP model with DAO analysis; 7) NCAR CAM with MITgcm ocean; 8) NCEP/NCAR WRF with POM or MOM4.  A webpage on which the interoperability experiments are described and from which they can be downloaded is accessible via the Applications link at left. Part II:  Two Part II JMC codes will achieve partial compliance, either within 120 FTE-hours for each code or with less than a 2% change in executable source code. The two codes measured were the GFDL/MITgcm interoperability experiment and MITgcm global ocean, both for lines of source code changed. The following directory contains the reports on these codes. 2.
